A summer
beverage brand

Campaign photography, creative direction | one season

Three cocktails on white, one with a pink blossom on ice

Pl. 01Three glasses, one blossom on ice. The product is thirst, not the bottle.

The brief

A seasonal drinks range going into summer with a catalogue of packshots and nothing anyone would stop for. Everything looked cold and correct, and nothing looked wanted.

The idea

Shoot the weather instead of the product. Salt, sand, heat, a melon carried down to the water. Would you eat this melon if you saw it thirsty on a hot summer day? Right. That is the point.

What changed

One trip produced a season of images: campaign stills, vertical film, and enough frames to carry the feed from June to September without a single repeat.

Sunlit legs and hands holding half a melon on black sand

Pl. 02Carried, not styled. The hands stay in the frame on purpose.

Half a melon resting on dark wet sand with a long shadow

Pl. 03Time sells. A single fruit on wet sand, left long enough to cast a shadow.
