A dessert bar,
reintroduced
Photography, art direction | one shoot day

Pl. 01One lamp, one quenelle, red dust. The first frame of the set and still the one they use.

A dessert bar with a room people loved and photographs nobody remembered. Bright, flat, taken quickly between services, and impossible to tell apart from any other menu in the city.
Photograph the desserts the way the guests actually meet them: late, warm, under one lamp, at the end of a long evening. We removed every light we did not need and shot the room as it is after dark.
One shoot day produced an image bank that now runs the menu, the windows and a full season of posts. The team stopped shooting on phones between orders, and the account finally looks like the room it belongs to.

Pl. 02Two bowls, two hands, nothing else. Service photographed as a gesture rather than a product.
